Description
WANTED: Safe, reliable, professional CDL drivers to operate ready mixed concrete trucks. Drivers should have a Class B, Tanker Endorsement CDL, with a minimum of two years of experience and at least 23 years old. Deliveries are local and will not require overnight travel. Competitive wage with excellent, health, dental, and vision benefits. Pension and a 401k plan are also included. Time and a half pay after 8 working hours in a day. Must be willing to work all days of the week, including unique hours. Facility locations are at: Pittston, Dunmore and Nanticoke, PA.

Full Job Description – Local family owned ready mixed concrete company with multiple plants looking for a ready-mix batcher/dispatcher for our Covington PA plant. This position involves the batching of concrete and managing the logistics of trucks as they transport ready mixed concrete to job sites. The right candidate must have strong communication skills, be proficient working with a computer, the ability to prioritize various tasks, always have a great attitude with customers and company employees, and have knowledge of the area.
Qualifications:
• Must have knowledge of the construction industry
• Experience as a dispatcher in the concrete or construction industry is a plus, but not required.
• Must be able to communicate clearly
• Must possess strong logistic and geographical skill set
• Detailed oriented
• Excellent organizational skills
• Must be willing to work all days of the week, including unique hours
• Must provide excellent customer service by phone and in person
• Willingness to learn and work in a team environment
• Must be flexible with work flow and able to quickly switch from one task to another if needed
• Strong scheduling skills and able to complete current and future job schedules for all trucks
